Our Workshops
Try your hand at the authentic and age-old art of glass blowing.
Here’s everything you need to know about our experience workshops:
- Experience workshops are beginner friendly, one-time classes. If you’re looking for a more intensive glass-blowing experience, check out our 6-week course. We offer our 6-week course three times a year with 3-hour classes once per week.
- Your workshop can consist of as little as one person, or as many as forty. Just let us know how many people you would like to bring! All attendees must create a piece.
- An average workshop experience lasts about an hour for a group of four people or twenty-minutes per person.
- In workshops, guests are free to express their creative energy but for many safety reasons, our glass artists will be responsible for some elements of the glass blowing process.
- Once you’re here, you can choose the piece you’d like to create. A menu of options can be found below. We offer 20 different items to choose from that range from $60-$160 each. Guests will choose their color and design and work with their own personal glass artist to create their one-of-a-kind piece.
- We teach children as young as six years old. Minors will need a parent or guardian to complete the safety waiver.
- All guests must follow our workshop safety guidelines.and sign our safety waiver before attending a workshop. Waivers can be completed on our website or at our studio before your workshop begins.
- We offer workshops by appointment only, and require a $50 deposit when booking. This deposit will be used toward the items you choose to create, and is non refundable within 48 hours of your workshop time. If you need to make changes to your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to create the best experience possible for all guests.
- There is a 10 minute grace period for workshop check-in. If you are later than 10 minutes for your scheduled appointment, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and your deposit is forfeited. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to appointment time for check-in! If you anticipate a late arrival- please call as soon as possible so we can adjust our workshop schedule. We offer both beginner and intermediate courses. You will learn:
- How to operate safely in the studio
- How to make paper weights, vessels, vases and bowls
- How to apply color using varied techniques
- How to work as a team.
Courses are typically 3 hours held one day a week for six weeks.
We ask that participants be 13 years old and up. The cost of the 6 week course is $700 per person, and includes all needed tools and glass. Class enrollment is first come, first serve. Please let us know if you would like to be added to the interested participant list. When we are prepared to start the next course, we will reach out to you.
Private Lessons
*6-Week Beginner Course must be taken before a private lesson can be scheduled.*
Another option is a 1.5 hour private lesson, which involves a little more detailed instruction, and learning your basic building blocks of glass blowing. Private lessons cost $200, with all tools and clear glass included.
You will start working side by side with the artist, and finish working independently, with verbal instruction as you work.
This is a great experience to expand on your knowledge of the science behind glassblowing, and gain the confidence to work independently on your art. Private lessons can be taken multiple times, and will work in building up skill as you go. You must take the 6 week course before scheduling private lessons in our studio.
